Apple-nut-carrot cake

The cake is quick and easy to make and tastes great! With the apples and nuts, this sweet also contains healthy, spermidine-rich ingredients.

  • 100 g icing sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 170 ml neutral vegetable oil
  • 300 g of flour
  • 70 g nuts (almonds, hazelnuts, etc.) ground
  • Half a tsp of cinnamon
  • Half a pkg of baking powder
  • 300 g carrots finely grated
  • 200 g apples finely grated
  • Jam to spread


Beat the eggs with the sugar until frothy (a kitchen machine really pays off here). Mix in the oil slowly. Mix the flour with the nuts, baking powder and cinnamon and fold into the egg mixture. Stir in the grated carrots and apples. Put the mixture in a greased and floured (or lined with baking paper) cake tin and bake at 180 ° C for 40-50 minutes. Spread thinly with jam while still hot.
