Fried liver with bacon, apples, and potato-pumpkin-oven-vegetables

The autumn is here! The harvest season still in full swing! Despite all this work, we would like to show you to this fast hearty dish.
The liver and the apples are not only a good vitamin- but also spermidine-source. As a side dish, we recommend potato-pumpkin-oven-vegetables that is also rich in spermidine.


Preparation

Chop the onion in dices. Cut the bacon into thin slices (max. 2 cm wide). Remove the cores of the apples and cut in dices.
Heat 1 TBSP of vegetable oil and the bacon in a pan. Add and roast the onion slices a bit. Then add and fry the liver quickly and finally add and roast the apples. Season with salt and freshly ground pepper.
As a side dish we recommend in the oven roasted potatoes and pumpkin. Therefore, peel the potatoes and cut into cubes. Cut the pumpkin into equal cubes. Mix all in a baking dish with olive oil and fry at 200 ° C for about 20-30 minutes in the oven with hot air. Sprinkle with salt before serving.

Ingredients (4 persons)

~ 200 g fresh chicken liver (approx. 50 g per person corresponds to 1-2 chicken liver)

2 medium red onion

~ 80-100 g belly fat speck

2 apples best sweet and sour variety

1TBSP vegetable oil

salt and pepper

4 large potatoes

and equal amount of pumpkin (Hokkaido, Butternut, Nutmeg or similar)

4 TBSP olive oil

salt
